We are incredibly proud of the pathway we are building at the club.
To currently have five junior age groups coming through the club, with over 120 junior players signed on, is something we should all be very proud of. It shows the strength of our structure, the commitment of our volunteers and the belief we all have in giving local youngsters the best possible environment to enjoy their football, develop as people, and grow within the game.
Every single one of our junior coaches gives their time voluntarily, and that commitment should never be underestimated. Their effort, patience, encouragement and support are helping to shape not only better footballers, but confident young people who feel part of something bigger than just a team.
Our aim is to create a clear and positive pathway – whether that leads players into our first team, into other opportunities in football, or simply gives them memories, friendships and values that stay with them for life. Wherever their journey takes them, we want every young player to know they have been valued, supported and encouraged here.
The junior section is a huge part of the future of this club. It represents everything we stand for: community, opportunity, commitment and pride. To see so many young players wearing the badge, learning the game and enjoying being part of the club is a credit to everyone involved – the coaches, parents, volunteers, committee members and, most importantly, the players themselves.
This is more than just junior football. This is the foundation of the club, the future of the club, and something we are extremely proud to continue building together.
