The Committee – Bishops Castle Town Football Club

The committee of Bishops Castle Town FC is made up entirely of dedicated volunteers who work behind the scenes to keep the club running. Alongside work and family life, committee members give their time to support players, coaches and fellow volunteers, oversee the organisation and governance of the club, and ensure strong links between senior football, the junior section and the wider club. Their commitment is essential to both the day‑to‑day operation and the long‑term future of Bishops Castle Town FC.

How the Committee Supports the Club
Through their collective efforts, the committee helps ensure that Bishops Castle Town FC operates safely, sustainably and in line with its values. This includes maintaining good governance, financial management and club administration; supporting safeguarding, welfare and volunteer standards; helping sustain football opportunities for more than 120 junior players across five age groups; and supporting the Men’s Team and wider club activity at Community College Bishops Castle. This behind‑the‑scenes work allows the club to continue serving the local community and providing football for players of all ages.
