Castle Are On The Up Baby!

An early kick off saw Castle walk into the game with a full squad for supposedly the first time ever, but some would argue we were fighting with the bare 11.
After another calm and relaxed warm up, the boys were feeling pretty good going into the game, especially the best player probably in the league, Seth Bateson. After not getting the ball for 18 minutes, he was played through with an average ball by someone that wasn’t Flynn, which he managed to recover, beating 3 players, then made Arjen Robben look average as he whipped a left footed curler into the side netting from at least 40 yards out. 1-0.
He also scored another which was unbelievable. No words. Sam Jones then seemed to run for about 20 minutes before being body slammed in the penalty box, which he took and scuffed into the bottom corner to make it 2-0. He should have given it Seth for his hat trick.
The 4th came from a well worked corner, which saw Robbie Payne ‘let the ball hit his foot’ and score a goal that was slightly worse than Seth’s. Castle went into the break 4-0 up.
The break saw 2 substitutions, which saw our Irish Berbatov having to go off, and turning to the bench, manager Greg Wainwright decided it was best to throw the lump that was Mark Griffiths up top. God help us all.
The second half saw two goals from a man in fine form Tom Edwards, who has put Zico into retirement it seems. A 7th goal came from an absolutely spectacular bicycle kick from substitute Dylan Powell, lobbing the keeper from 20 yards out. Wow. Mark Griffiths then tried to recreate a similar spectacle, only making a fool of himself and nearly putting the keeper in A&E.
Everyone thought Seth had gone home at half time, but to everyones surprise, including his own, he turned up on the end of a fantastic through ball by, again, someone that wasn’t Flynn Morris , and as though Harry Kane had come on, slotted it home for his hat trick. Serious Player.
